Life at The Ashton Care Home

At The Ashton Care Home in Hinckley, each day is so varied with regard to what our residents get up to. We have an activities team who are fantastic at creating a programme that is not only fun and inclusive but also caters to the individual needs of our residents.

We want to share the kind of regular activities our residents get involved in, and what a typical day at The Ashton Care Home looks like.

When a resident decides to make The Ashton their new home, they can expect a variety of choice in a number of ways from dining preferences to the activities they participate in. We hold regular discussions with our residents which provide them with the opportunity to put forward their suggestions for what they would like to see and do.

It is important to us that residents feel as though they are thoroughly involved with life within our home. We also recognise how essential it is for our residents to maintain their routines, traditions, and hobbies, which is why our team creates a programme that considers all these things.

Residents at The Ashton really enjoy being a part of some of the homes own traditions such as visits from our Hairdresser every Tuesday, fish and chip Friday from our local fish and chip shop, and Sunday roast dinners.

We also offer a daily coffee morning which sees residents, relatives, and members of the community alike all join for coffee, biscuits, and a new topic of conversation each day. When our resident's arent socialising, they are taking part in our movement to music sessions or being indulged for their weekly pamper.

We want to ensure our residents keep their minds and bodies active and for them to feel excited about what lies ahead each day. At The Ashton Care Home, residents and their loved ones can rest assured that they will be provided with outstanding care as well as support for their overall wellbeing.
